News about the PTA and events

Bewdley Primary School PTA

Bewdley Primary School PTA is a registered charity and is made up of a small dedicated group of Mums,

Dads, Grandparents and teachers. The PTA contribute to a wide range of activities in school.

Each year the PTA raises valuable funds to buy all those special extras for the children. These have

included the adventure playground and the cost of the coaches to the Swan Theatre in Worcester each

year to see the Christmas pantomime.

The children really enjoy the activities and events organised by the PTA, it is an added bonus that the

activities raise money for the school.

Events organised by the PTA include

  • Christmas and Summers Fayres
  • Discos
  • Halloween Party
  • Mothers Day Secrets Room
  • Fathers Day Secrets Room
  • Flip and Dippy Magic Show
  • Film Nights

 How can you help?

  • By becoming actively involved in the running of the PTA, either by becoming a committee member,
    or by
  • registering as a helper.
  • By helping to organise an event.
  • By coming along to the PTA events and bringing your friends and family.
  • By providing contacts with organisations who may be able to help with sponsorship or a raffle prize.
  • Helping out when you can – maybe just a hour to help the children wrap their presents in the
    Secrets Room.

Everyone is welcome to come along to our Committee meeting – come along for a cup of tea and a chat!
We are a friendly group and really enjoy what we do. The date and time of our meetings will be on the
school notice board, newsletter and website. Remember even just one hour of you time and help will be
warmly received and appreciated!
